About
Two of us, one room, fifteen weekends a year.
Evermore is not an agency with a roster. It is a restored stone chapel on Cutler Hill and the two people who answer its phone.
Wedding rings on flowers.
Since 2012 · Hudson Valley
We plan one weddingat a time.
A wedding should feel like your living room — only with better light, and everyone you love already inside it.
Nora and Beatrix Hale have run Evermore out of the same restored stone chapel since 2012. They take fifteen weddings a year, walk every florist and quartet through the room themselves, and answer their own phones on a Sunday.

The building
Built 1847,empty for forty years, reopened for this.
We bought it with a collapsed vestry roof and spent three years putting the slate back by hand. The lime plaster is original. The pews are not — they went to a barn in Rhinebeck and came back as the long table you will eat at.
- Seats 120 for dinner, 160 for the ceremony
- Ninety minutes north of Grand Central
- Two guest suites in the old rectory, yours for the weekend
Come see it empty
The room says it better than we do.
We walk couples through on Thursday afternoons, before the flowers arrive and while the light is still coming through the west window.
